What this website collects
This website sets no cookies and uses no advertising networks and no third-party embeds. No fonts are loaded from external servers. Apart from the technical server logs there is only a simple cookie-free visitor count, described in the next section.
Visitor count with Cloudflare Web Analytics
I want to know how many people open the site and which pages are read. For this, each page loads a small script from Cloudflare (static.cloudflareinsights.com). It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device and builds no user profile. It records the page address, referring page, browser type, country and load times. The IP address is used only for transmission and is not stored for the analysis. I only see aggregated numbers, never individual visitors. Legal basis: my legitimate interest in simple audience measurement, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Any ad blocker stops the script, and the site works exactly the same.
AI test and email tips
If you take the AI test on this website and request your result, you give your email address. Stored are email address, line of business, score, result type, your optional answers on price and payment model and the time of sign-up and confirmation. Your individual answers are not stored. By requesting the result you consent to receiving it by email and, after that, an AI tip for small businesses about once a month. Legal basis: your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Sign-up only takes effect once you click the link in the confirmation email (double opt-in). You can withdraw consent at any time via the unsubscribe link in every email or by writing to me. Your data is then deleted.
Emails are sent via CleverReach GmbH & Co. KG, Schafjückenweg 2, 26180 Rastede, Germany, acting as a processor. The form sends your details to my website, and from there they are passed to CleverReach. No CleverReach script is loaded on this website. The English and the German test share one recipient list, so the confirmation email may reach you in German.
Server logs
When you open the site, your browser sends technically necessary data to the hosting provider: IP address, date and time, the address requested, the amount of data transferred and the browser identifier. This serves the secure operation of the site. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Hosting provider: Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. The site is served via Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes the connection data named above as a processor.
Contacting me
If you contact me by phone or email, I process your details in order to handle your enquiry. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR. The data is deleted once it is no longer needed, unless statutory retention periods apply.
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and you may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The competent authority here is the Bavarian Data Protection Authority (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.
