The limits

What can be handed over, and what cannot

A tool can take over recurring writing work, finding information again, the first distribution of rosters, reminders for deadlines and chasing up, an internal handbook for cover.

It cannot take over everything that needs your judgement, from prices to staffing decisions to the conversation with the customer. A tool takes typing off you, never responsibility.

On site I see more. In 45 minutes inside a business I notice things that never come up in a video call, the pile on the desk, the note stuck to the monitor, the shelf of ring binders. That is why I like to come by in the region. By video I ask more closely instead, and the numbers add up just the same in the end.

I have worked in this region since 2012. The Audi centre in Ingolstadt and GAP in used cars, GANT Outlet in retail, KR-Security in site security, PulsM as administrative manager, most recently B2B customer service at a distributor in Manching.

Before all that I ran a business of my own with staff.

Funding: Digitalbonus Bayern

What I recommend can be funded. Not the audit itself, but what you put in place afterwards.

The Digitalbonus Bayern supports businesses with fewer than 50 staff and a place of business in Bavaria. It pays up to €7,500 at a 50 % funding rate, and up to €30,000 in the Plus variant. The programme runs until 31.12.2027.

The most common mistake: buying first and applying afterwards. Anything already started is not eligible. That is why the report comes before the purchase and not after it.
